Poxil was born in the majestic Mayan lands of the Yucatan peninsula, Mexico. Very close to the beautiful white sand beaches and turquoise water of the Caribbean of Tulum in the Riviera Maya. The jungle vegetation of the area tells us about its natural abundance, its pyramids of its history and the ecovillage of its sustainability.
The location of the Eco Aldea Poxil is extremely extraordinary because it is located in the very heart of the Riviera Maya and the Yucatan Peninsula, having in its closest proximity the Tulum Beach but also with quick access to Playa del Carmen & Cancun in Quintana Roo. And Valladolid & Mérida in Yucatan.
The Eco Village is also within the most concentrated Mayan zone of the most visited archaeological sites of the Mayan culture and is tucked away in the jungle just 2.5 kms into a Mayan town of 40,000 inhabitants called Chemax.
